1 Thessalonians 1 v 1-10

Summary:

We live in a world with so much strife. We wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Gods grace, it is a gift from God. We have peace in our lives because of God. Paul says we should give thanks to God always and Paul prays for the church. Do we pray for one another? Paul then also remembers without ceasing, do we give each day to the Lord? Do we remember Jesus every day?
Without faith it is impossible to please the Lord. We are called to serve and be witnesses. We must talk to people and live our lives for Jesus. We must pray for those who do not know Jesus as anyone who does not know him will go to hell. We demonstrate faith if we turn to God.
We shouldn't have idols in this world as the only person we should worship is God. He is the only one true God. Are we busy for God? When was the last time we prayed or talked to Jesus? We are called to pray and be witnesses.
What will we do with the messages we hear on sunday mornings? We can either reject it accept it or forget it.
In Gods eyes we are special because he has saved us and he wants a relationship with us. We have a responsibility to live our lives for Jesus. We must love the Lord with all our hearts. We can be honest with God and tell him that we need his help with all these things.
The gospel is alive in the world today
