The Word of God always meets our needs.
In our Christian lives we can have days where we feel highs and lows. We can have days where we feel great and close to God and in matter of days we can feel at a low point.
If we read the Word of God and continue to do so we can find an increasing peace and faith. We can be in a situation where our strength is not enough but lets not forget we serve a risen Saviour.
In the story of the 5 thousand people that needed feeding we can find that we can send our problems away like the disciples wanted to. We might find ourselves feeling the same but we have our God with us. Sometimes God does things for us but other times he wants to work with us. God can use what we already have to give us something else and meet our needs. Whatever our burden is, take it to the Lord as he wants to meet our needs.
God can multiply what we have if we place them into Gods hands. Sometimes we can try to deal with a situation ourselves instead of going to Jesus. Philippians chapter 4 v 6-7 says we should make our requests known to God. Lets put our faith into action by prayer and supplication and put it into Gods hands as he can grant peace and understanding.
David went out against Goliath with what little we had, Moses had a stick but he took what he had. God can do great things with what little we have as the little boy gave what little he had to Jesus.
We can also learn to give cheerfully and not begrudgingly after all Jesus has given us our things in the first place.
There were even left overs from what Jesus had done, he is a God of provision and abundance. He can give more than we can ever imagine. He can also use the doubters to feed those in the world just as he did with the disciples.
What do we have today that we can put into Jesus' hands to use
